MCF: Dire Grove

A group of graduate students have gone missing in a town, Dire Grove, whereby a Celtic legend has been passed down from generations to generations for centuries. It has been told as a fairy tale to scare young kids.
However, is it really just a fairy tale, or a true legend? If it's not real, then what are the students?

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

Another Nintendo DS game that I liked. I like the story and the part where I plays as the prosecutor in solving mystery cases.

Player gets to be as prosecutor but mainly you will be in the outdoors instead of being in the courtroom. Player will also be taking up a role like a detective, player have to examine and investigate in the crime scenes and link up the evidence and things that you found logically, from there you get a clearer picture of the mysteries.

This game is a sequel to the previous Ace Attorney game. For those who doesn't know about the other Ace Attorney game which was released earlier. In the previous game you will get to play as attorney and you will be in the court pressing on the witness and the defendant. I played one of the previous version for a while. Mainly the game play is almost the same.

The story of this game is also very interesting because you have to reveal the story by ourselves and normally there's a lot of twist here and there so.. it really keeps me attracted to the game. *grins*

Another thing is the characters are interesting and the way they presented the game. It's just like reading a comic. I also like the way they present the dialogue. It's not normally those kind that they just throw you the text. There's animation and different speed of the text popping out, it seems to be the character talking even thought you do not hear it. And and.. The character's lips seems to sync with the text too. That's really very amazing and I wonder how they did that.. Hmmm..

You won't be able to feel it only when you get to play with this game. It's in fact a GREAT game to play. I really really recommend this game..

Touch Detective!

Official Webpage: http://www.atlus.com/touchdetective/

Today, I'll share with you another NDS game~ Touch Detective! Yea, it's a point and click mystery game. I'm not a great fan of these types of games but what interest me most is the story of the game. The story is captivating~~ whee~

Player plays as Mackenzie(picture on the left), the main character who runs a detective agency in a small town(I don't remember the town's name tho) Detective is somehow their family business, seems like she's not very experienced and there is this freakiest looking guy called Cromwell who will be helping Mackenzie at times. So we have to approach him from time to time in order to solve the mystery cases.

Yea yea, the picture on the left is the guy called Cromwell. Sometimes he's quite funny but I still thinks he looks quite freaky eh.. He looks like a zombie to me. Anyways, from the offical website of Touch Detective seems like he has been living for around 300 over years, no wonder he looked so freaky~

FUNGHI!!! Our dear Fungi.. oops. is Funghi on the left is our dear companion. Mackenzie's companion in exact. Actually this small little guy does nothing but sometimes he would give helpful hints. This Funghi will follow us everywhere, so when you are bored you can disturb it. =D But all it reply is "nnf, nnf".

This character on the left is Chloe, at first I thought she was a he but actually she's a girl. This character is more of a joker. She will just randomly appears and talks a lot of crap and she likes to bully another character called Penelope in the game.

Here comes Penelope~ I don't know why this girl seems to be in trouble all the time. So far I play seems like she the only one getting into trouble and getting help from Mackenzie.

There's a total of 4 episode.. Meaning there is 4 mystery cases to solve. Actually, the cases is quite easy to solve because all you have to do is to examine every where and talk to every person, use some logic and VOILA!! CASE CLOSE!

The game interface is interesting. The top screen will have what you see the game character. At time to time you will be able to see what she is thinking. The screen at the bottom is where u click and the most of the things happening happens at the bottom screen.

This game is worth to try out and for people who is interested in the game story~ uncover the stories by yourself~~

I think there's Touch Detective 2~ Check out the trailer below and the website~
